Is this too much cam?

Wondering if I can run this setup for the time being. I recently acquired a set of edelbrock high compression heads, part # 60499 and am looking at cams. I'll be putting it on the stock bottom end on my 91 and stock TBI with 3764 intake. Was planning to put a different FI system on when funds allow but want to run it this way in the mean time.
Cam part # 10110702 Lunati. Here's the specs.
Lift .530"/.542
Duration 262/268
LSA 112
RPM range 1400-5800

I would rather not since I plan to upgrade the FI eventually. If I have to re program the computer I'll prob either go with a different cam or just wait till I can foot the bill for the new FI system. The next smaller cam says it works with the stock TBI so I may just go with it. I'm not planning on turning much over 5,000RPM on the stock bottom end anyway.... maybe I just answered my own question?  Cheesy

If it were me I would do it once. I wouldn't buy a cam knowing I'm going to replace it down the road. I'd buy the one you want, keep it in the box, buy more parts, buy a few more parts, then install it all together if you don't want to tune it with the tbi.

Yep. That's what I have talked myself into.
